These maps are sharp and clear. All railway lines and stations are shown and named.

In 1908, Plumstead, Eltham, and Sidcup were separate towns within the London boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley. Plumstead was a bustling industrial town, home to the Royal Arsenal, which produced armaments for the British military. The town also had a vibrant commercial center, with many shops and markets. Eltham was a quieter, more suburban town with a mix of residential homes and small businesses. The most notable historical site in Eltham was Eltham Palace, a former royal residence that dated back to the 14th century. Sidcup was a small village that was gradually expanding due to the growth of the railway industry.

Several churches were also present in the area. In Plumstead, the most notable church was the Plumstead Wesleyan Methodist Church, which was located on Plumstead High Street. In Eltham, the St. John the Baptist Church was a prominent Anglican church that had been in existence since the 12th century. In Sidcup, the St. John the Evangelist Church was a relatively new church, having been built in 1903.

Other points of interest in the area included the Red Lion Inn in Eltham, which was a popular meeting place for local residents, and the Sidcup Golf Course, which was established in 1904 and had quickly become a popular destination for golf enthusiasts. Overall, Plumstead, Eltham, and Sidcup were all rapidly growing areas in the early 20th century, each with their own unique character and points of interest.

Whether you're a history buff, a cartography enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique piece of decor for your home or office, this map is sure to delight. It's a piece of history that you can own and enjoy for years to come.
